Samsung announce availability of SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit
This week, Samsung has released the new SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit. The kit is already available for sale at retail stores in USA and is available for sale online too. The new kit is available for purchase nationwide at Best Buy stores, SmartThings.com, BestBuy.com, Amazon.com, Sears.com, Samsung.com, and–coming soon–Sears stores, and more. The Home Monitoring Kit includes SmartThings hub, two multi purpose sensors, one motion sensor, one outlet to control lights, electronics and small appliances. This way, residents get to secure their home in better way and get alerts if there is intrusion and also control home electrical devices/appliances using smartphone. The SmartThings applications is available for iOS and Android devices.
Smart Home Monitor application can be used to personalize smart home to automatically do certain actions at a particular time, switch devices on/off, control and monitor all connected products, monitor home for intrusion, leaks etc.
The Kit includes:
•The new SmartThings Hub to connect smart sensors, lights, locks, cameras, and more
•Two Multipurpose Sensors to monitor whether doors, windows, cabinets, or your garage are open or closed
