Twitter and Saavn team up to bring Saavn Radio to Twitter

Twitter has been doing some nice additions to its platform (among other, annoying ones). Most recently, it’s teamed up with Saavn to bring radio to its users.

Saavn Radio, launched an year ago, will now be taking requests from Twitter users. You tweet at the official @SaavnRadio account with your request, Saavn adds it to its radio playlist.

It’s pretty neat, actually. I tried tweeted them a request, and they accepted it within a few seconds. The downside is that it doesn’t play inside the Twitter app itself – you’ll have to either open the radio in the app on your phone or if you’re on a desktop, then in your browser.

If you don’t mind having your song played after a long while, you may like the service.
