The Theta S spherical camera comes with two 12 MP lenses placed on the front and the back of the device. Using the two cameras, you can capture 360 degree photos and videos. Stills are capped at up to 14 MP resolution, while spherical videoes can be recorded up to a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, or full HD at a frame rate of 30 FPS. The cameras come with a f/2.0 aperture so you should be able to capture better photos and videos even in low light.

The Ricoh Theta S supports full HD recording at 30 FPS for a total of 25 minutes on continuous recording. The internal storage is non-expandable at a mere 8 GB, but the Theta S has some connectivity options to help you sort it out on the move. The camera supports Wi-Fi and has a micro USB and a mini HDMI port. Apart from that, there’s a tripod mount port as well to help you with video recording.

The Ricoh Theta S is currently available for pre-order at a price of Rs. 7,199. This is not to be confused as the full price – consider it as an advance payment, with the rest to be paid on delivery or as Ricoh stipulates. The actual price of the Theta S is Rs. 39,995. It is available on Ricoh’s online store as of now.
