In an announcement at SXSW 2015, the music streaming service announced the integration with Twitter in a bid to boost its business and acquire new users. Competitors like Spotify and Pandora have way more paying customers as well as free users and Rhapsody is trying to win some business by tapping into Twitter’s huge, hyper-active userbase.

Rhapsody will be making use of Twitter’s neat cards feature to feature songs to Twitter users, from where the users can begin streaming the songs for free. Rhapsody is hoping Twitter users like its offering and click through to subscribe. The service will provide free 14 day trials for both of the paid plans – the unRadio and Premier plans which cost $4.99 and $9.99 per month respectively.
