Reliance Jio Free 4G Happy New Year Offer Extended Up To 31 March 2017
Reliance Jio has once again extended its free 4G service up to 31 March, 2017. The new extension will be applicable to all existing as well as new subscribers of Reliance Jio, the company revealed. Subscribers will continue to enjoy unlimited high speed 4G LTE data services, including voice and video.
Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer Details
In an announcement earlier in the day, the Chairman of Reliance Industries made the new Jio Happy New Offer official.
According to the new Jio Happy New Year offer, all new Reliance Jio subscribers from 4th December will be subscribed under this offer. Existing subscribers of the company will continue to be on the Jio Welcome Offer that was announced by the company in September. This Welcome Offer for old customers will be valid till 31 December 2016. On 1 January, 2017, old subscribers under the Welcome Offer will be migrated to the Happy New Year offer which will be valid till 31 March 2017.
Here are all the details of the Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer:
- Unlimited 4G LTE data – capped to 1 GB per day after which speeds will be reduced to 128 Kbps. Currently, speeds are capped at 4 GB per day.
- Unlimited Voice calling.
- Unlimited Video calling.
- 100 SMS per day.
- Unlimited access to all Jio apps and services.
In addition to the above, Reliance Industries Chairman also announced that the company has brought down call blockages from 90% to about 20%, as of yesterday. In total, Jio users had faced about 900 crore call blockages from the top 3 service providers in the country. However, an increased number of interconnection points and backend improvements have brought down call blockages to 20%.
Apart from that, Jio also announced the availability of two recharge vouchers for its subscribers. These two vouchers can be availed for Rs. 51 and Rs. 301, giving you 1 GB data for 1 day and 6 GB data for 28 days respectively. These data vouchers can be availed by both prepaid as well as postpaid subscribers, allowing them to use the data after exhausting the daily cap of 1 GB free data.
