Why is Realme 2 a disappointment ?
Oppo thinks the Indian market is just a price game. But Indian consumers have grown up beyond the price tag. The are now ready to spend higher, but they want better specifications. Realme 1 was such a mobile that excited the crowd, but Realme 2 is just the opposite of it.
- Snapdragon 450 is not a great processor. Realme 2 must have had 6xx, as the Realme 1’s P60 was equivalent to SD626
- Notch is not a feature, it is a viewed as an ugly patch of black real estate blocking your view and coming between every app you use. Stop promoting Notch as a great engineering market.
- 720p display is no more an acceptable standard in the 10k price range.
- That weak 2 MP camera for depth sensor is as good as nothing. Should have been a single 12 MP camera with a big sensor size and strong processing capability.
- The name of this model must have been Realme -1 or something different and definitely note Realme 2.
