Rdio announce new influencer stations to fight Apple Music
Facing the heat from Apple Music launch, Rdio has announced new “Influencer” stations that will cover various genres. These sections incluce Arts & Crafts, DFA, Blue Note, Glassnote and XL. The new stations will feature artists like Hunter Hayes, Refinery29, Yelp NYC experts, Hype Machine, Consequence of Sound, A.V Club and more.

DFA: Relive the idiosyncratic awesomeness of New York City’s statement-bearing dance label and flagship artists like LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, Hot Chip and Hercules & Love Affair.
Blue Note: Jazz music’s seminal label traces the entire history of the genre from Hot Jazz, Boogie Woogie and Swing through Bebop, Hard Bop, Post Bop, Soul Jazz, Avant-Garde, and Fusion and into numerous modern day incarnations.
Glassnote: The acclaimed indie label with offices in New York, Toronto, Austin, London and Los Angeles take you through an eclectic trip featuring label stars like Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Childish Gambino and Oberhofer.
