Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 is the new top end chip for flagship phones
Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 is the ‘incremental’ successor to the super hit Snapdragon 820 chip. SD810 was a major flop and this resulted in Qualcomm going back to the drawing board and get it right. There are over 115 smartphones and tablets that are now powered by Snapdragon 820. This week, Qualcomm has announced follow-up to Snapdragon 820 processor, the Snapdragon 821. The Snapdragon 821 has faster speed, better power saving and greater application performance when compared to the SD821. In plain figures, SD821 delivers 10% increase in performance over SD820 and can hit up to 2.4GHz speed.
“We’re excited to tell you more about just how the Snapdragon 821 will help set a new bar for smartphones, tablets, mobile VR head mounted displays and other new devices.
