PocketDrive app turns iPad and iPhone into wireless drive
When it comes to iOS, one major drawback is lack of ‘native’ file manager. SIS Software’s Pocket Drive application is one such application that helps iOS users transfer/manage/organize files on their iOS device. Users can also transform their iOS device into a wireless drive. Pocket Drive supports over 25 file types (pages, numbers, office files, pdf, move, mp3/mp4, zip etc). Available for iPad and iPhone, Pocket Drive gives 512MB of local storage space and via in-app purchase, users can add additional storage space. Pocket Drive +, which costs €4.49 will allow users as much data as they need (till there is no storage space left on the device). The main advantage though is that the Pocket Drive will connect iOS device to OS X’s finder or Window’s Explorer over wireless network and let users drag and drop files from/to Mac or PC.
