Pioneer announce XDP-100R portable media player for audiophiles

Pioneer’s new XDP-100R is a new portable media player, targeted at pure audiophiles. Launched in Japan this week, the Pioneer XDP-100R has ES9018K2M DAC&AMP at its heart. XDP-100R supports lossless FLAC and WAV audio formats, supports 384kHz/24-bit resolution. The display is 4.7” in size and has 720p resolution touchscreen panel. There is 32GB of build in storage and users can add two microSD card slots (up to 128GB). XDP-100R runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and can stream music from popular streaming services.
