Oppo U3 comes with a 5.9 inch display, launching on January 14
There’s no stopping the Chinese OEMs. Oppo, one of the biggest Chinese OEMs, will be launching its much talked about phablet, the U3 on January 14th. That’s under 48 hours now. The launch of the U3 is happening a day before Xiaomi launches its successor to the Redmi Note.
The Oppo U3 will come with a 5.9 inch 1080p display, but that’s not the main highlight of the device. It’s the camera and audio specs that are more interesting. The U3 will come with a 13 MP camera with 4x optical zoom and 4K video capturing abilities. On the front, there will be a 5 MP sensor aided by an LED flash. The selfie fever is high.
The Oppo U3 will be running a custom Android version called Color OS. There are no details yet about the OS version, but it’s going to be KitKat, most probably. An octa-core Mediatek processor will be running the phone. On the memory front, Oppo is settling on 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory.
