Oppo launches A37 with Snapdragon 410
Oppo has launched a new smartphone in its A-series, the A37, in China. The device has been priced at CNY 1,299. The device can be purchased in China from the company’s official website.
The A37 runs on ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It features a 5 inch HD ( 720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass. It comes with a pixel density of ~293 ppi. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is powered by a 2630mAh battery.
The dual SIM device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The internal storage on the device can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device comes with a dedicated microSD slot. You don’t have to waste a SIM slot to use a microSD card.
The Oppo A37 sports a 8 MP primary camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and full HD video recording capability. On the front, the device includes a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The Oppo A37 is currently available in Singapore for $215 and China for CNY 1,299. It will be available in Indonesia starting June 25 and will be released in other markets after that.
