There are lot of applications that start the moment you boot up your phone. These apps can cause your phone to slow down right from the boot up and they can also drain battery life. Startup Manager helps you to manage system startup entries. Blocking apps from running in the background can save more power and can prevent recording private information. In this guide, we help you decide how to block or allow apps to start at startup time.
If you are using newer Oppo or Realme phones running ColorOS 6.x, head to this guide instead. You can access our full list of guides for Oppo Color OS 5.2 in this page. You can also access our recommended smartphone list to get list of best smartphones that you can buy.
Go to Phone Manager, open [Privacy Permissions].
Click on Startup Manager.
Click on green color toggle (to turn it into grey) to block that application from starting at bootup time. To enable, you can click on toggle for the app to turn it green (in this case Amazon for example).
To view the apps that had been blocked from starting in the background, click Blocking Records.
