Unlike iOS, Android comes with highly flexible file sharing options. Oppo took it to next level with feature like ‘OPPO Share’. In this guide, we help you understand how to share files wirelessly between wireless devices like phone to phone and phone to computer. OPPO Share [only for oppo phone to oppo phone]
Open control center (drag down from top), turn on OPPO Share.
Select files you want to share and click on ‘Send’. You will see list of Oppo phones in vicinity and select the one to which you want to share the files.
Click ‘Receive’ on the other phone to start file copy.
Share using Bluetooth.
- Open Settings application, go to [Bluetooth] and enable Bluetooth. Pair your other device using bluetooth.
- Select list of files that you want to share, click on Send, then select Bluetooth.
- Select the bluetooth device to which you want to send the files.
- Click Accept on your other Bluetooth device and receive files.
Use Remote Management option from PC
Make sure that your phone and laptop are on same Wi-Fi network.
Go to Files application, go to [Remotely Manage Phone Files], select [Start Service].
You will now see an ftp URL. Open the URL from your laptop that is connected to same network.
When you want to stop this sharing, click on ‘Stop Service’ in your phone.
Using Wi-Fi Direct
- Go to [Settings] > [Wi-Fi] and enable Wi-Fi.
- Go to [Settings] > [Other Wireless Connections] > [Wi-Fi Direct].
- Click Search to start scanning for nearby Wi-Fi Direct devices. After the scan, select a device, then follow the prompts to pair the devices.
Multi-screen Interaction. You can stream your phone screen to TV sets, TV Boxes, or computers which is certified with Wi-Fi Miracast technology.
