Using a phone recorder, you can use your phone’s build in mic to record whatever you need. A quick note as voice helps if you are not in a position to type it into a note taking application. Open Recorder application.
Click 
to start recording.
Click 
to pause or continue.
Click 
to stop and save the recording.
While recording, you can switch to other application. To come back to recording application, click on red bar at the top.
