OnePlus announce new warranty/insurance plans in Europe and India

Insurance for electronics, smartphones is not a new thing but there are hardly any companies that provide in-house insurance coverage and OnePlus has joined this elite group. OnePlus 2 : On-Guard is created, by collaborating with simplesurance for Europe, B2X OnePlus Service 2 and Protect2 in India. Through these, Oneplus has introduced a new warranty program to improve customer support. The service is already available in Europe (from 2nd of November) and will be made available in other regions soon.

On-Guard by simplesurance FAQ:
1.  What does the plan cover?
The plan will cover breakage (such as a broken screen), accidental damage, damage due to dropping the device, liquid damage, vandalism, and more. You can find a full list at checkout.
2.  How do I purchase?
You can place an order for On-Guard by simplesurance on oneplus.net upon checkout for your OnePlus smartphone. Then you will be directed to complete payment for the insurance policy to simplesurance.
3.  Can I still purchase On-Guard by simplesurance even after I check out?
If you buy a OnePlus smartphone without the On-Guard service, within 15 days of the purchase you can email simplesurance customer support at: support@schutzklick.de. In your email please specify if it’s either the On-Guard 12 or On-Guard 24, and present the copy of your OnePlus order invoice to apply for the insurance policy.
4.  Who is eligible for On-Guard by simplesurance?
All new OnePlus smartphones purchased via EU stores on oneplus.net are eligible for this offer. Unfortunately, the policy is not available for OnePlus One, or OnePlus 2 purchased prior to this.
5.  How to report a claim  if something happens to my OnePlus smartphone?
