OnePlus 7 Pro finally revealed in India, looks breathtaking

OnPlus 7 Pro is finally official. At a grand event in Bengaluru, Carle Pei has taken the wraps off of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The 6.6″ display comes with QuadHD+ resolution, a first for OnePlus. Till date, only handful brands had devices with QuadHD resolution display (Samsung, LG, Apple, Sony etc). This display also has higher 90Hz refresh rate and can attain whopping 800nits maximum brightness. With this brightness, you will be able to use the open under direct sunlight, even during the brightest day of the year. Thanks to HDR10+ and HDR10 support, watching videos on Netflix etc will be amazing.

OnePlus 7 Pro comes with triple lens setup (one more than the setup on OnePlus 6T) at the back and a pop up camera for selfies. While the prime camera lens has Sony IMX586 48mp sensor, there is a 16mp wide angle lens and an 8mp zoom lens. The front facing pop up camera has a 16mp lens. OnePlus has tested the pop up camera motor for 300,00 times to make sure that the motor lasts long, really long. According to OnePlus, it can last up to 16 years. As expected, the rear camera module comes with Optical Image Stabilization. The wide angle lens has 117 degree field of view. The zoom lens now has 3X optical zoom. For focusing, camera switches between PDAF, CAF and Laser focusing.

Coming to internals, the OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the fasted chip available for phones and tablets. You can get up to 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of storage.

OnePlus is now bringing RAM boost that will reduce loading times for games. As announced earlier, OnePlus 7 Pro comes with UFS 3.0 memory standard that makes read and write operations much faster.

Coming to cooling, OnePlus 7 Pro comes with liquid cooling system that helps users manage temperatures while in long gaming sessions.

There is a 4000mAh battery onboard that can power the phone for a long time. Warp charge that was used on OnePlus 6T McLaren edition has made its way to OnePlus 7 Pro. 20 minutes from 0-48%. Other specs include, dual stereo speakers, supporing Dolby Atmos.
