[MWC 2015] BlackBerry Leap is a 5 inch budget smartphone
BlackBerry has launched a new phone out of the blue at the Mobile World Congress 2015. The troubled Canadian company has launched the BlackBerry Leap, a 5 inch budget smartphone running on the secure BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 platform.
BlackBerry Leap was never rumoured or leaked, so it comes as a little bit of a surprise even for those following the company. The Leap comes with a 5 inch LCD display of HD resolution, a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus processor and an 8 MP camera on the back.

BlackBerry has not yet announced the markets it will be available in, but the Canadian maker has said that the Leap will be launched in April for a price of $275.
