Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen is official, comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop
Just as the first gen Moto E, a wildly successful smartphone in these areas, had received a price cut, Motorola launched the second gen Moto E, aiming to build on the success of its predecessor. The second gen Moto E comes with a couple of improvements with Lollipop installed out of the box.
The Moto E 2nd gen specs:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- 4.5 inch TFT LCD display, 960×540 pixels, ~245 PPI
- 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU
- 5 MP main camera, 480p recording; front facing VGA camera
- 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
- LTE, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n
- 1980 mAh battery
Motorola hasn’t made a lot of noise about the Moto E 2nd gen, which is a bit surprising. The phone’s available at Best Buy right now for a price of $99.99 off-contract, which is on expected lines. The company hasn’t revealed more details about availability in other markets just yet, but we should know more soon.
