Not long ago, was the Moto G6 introduced in India for a price tag of Rs 14k which was powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor and that was a time when Snapdragon 625 powered devices
Moto G6 Play is priced at Rs 22499 and it promises superior camera, good design, style and performance. Moto G6 Play looks a lot like the Moto X4 but it has a larger screen. The display is 5.9 inch and has a full HD+ max vision screen. It has dual 12 + 5 MP camera setup at the back and a 8 MP camera on the front, almost identical on the G6. It comes in 6+64 GB variant and support dual voLTE. It also have face unlock along with a fast fingerprint sensor.

Specifications do not make up for everything in the mobile Industry. User experience, build quality and service support is essential. But the competition is not lacking any of these. As far as the customers are concerned, Motorola’s brand name is the only deciding factor and this is also hanging by the last thread. I have purchased the first gen Moto G and since last year, I own the Moto X4. But going by the market trend, I may not consider the Moto G6 series. There are other devices on the market, which offer me everything that the G6 series does, and that too for half the price.
If Motorola wants really to make an impression in the market, they must have launched G6 Plus at G6's price tag and never should have launched G6. It feels like Motorola has given up fighting!
