Motorola giving away Moto E 2015 free with Moto X 2014
Motorola is giving away its entry level Android smartphone Moto E with a purchase of the new Moto X. The company now owned by Lenovo is running this program via Moto Maker in the USA.
The Moto E makes for a great secondary phone, with a 4.5 inch display and 1 GB RAM. The second gen Moto E also comes with the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, which is a very good thing. Motorola also likes to keep its phones as close to stock Android as it can, adding functionality only with a few of its apps.
To avail the offer, you will have to buy a Moto X 2014 Pure Edition from Motorola’s Moto Maker website. There is no other catch other than the fact that you’ll have to buy the device outright, off-contract. It is worth noting that the Moto E second gen which Motorola is giving away is a 3G version and not the LTE version which is not yet available for purchase as it is.
