Here is a simple guide to help you format a SD card in your smartphone running MIUI 11. Do note that this will completely erase data in SD card and you should do this if you do not need the data stored in SD card. - Go to settings, tap on About phone.
- Tap on Storage.
- Scroll down and tap on Erase SD card.
- Tap on Format SD card.
- Follow onscreen instructions and format your SD card.
