One of the irritating things with these OSes is that by default most touch sounds and notification sounds are enabled. These include sounds for unlock/lock phone, sound when a photo is taken, sound when you tap on screen, sound when you are typing. It is very easy to disable/enable these sounds. - Open settings application.
- Go to Sound and vibration.
- Scroll down and click on Additional Settings.
- You will now see multiple options
- Dial pad tones.
- Tap sounds.
- Screen locking sounds.
- Screenshot sound.
- Delete sound.
- You can go ahead and enable/disable each of these.
To disable unwanted vibration when you tap on something:
- Open settings application.
- Go to Sound and vibration.
- Scroll down to click on ‘Vibrate on tap‘.
- You can now select among four modes:
- Off.
- Light.
- Medium.
- Strong.
