Microsoft updates Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Android
Microsoft recently released new updates for their Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps for Android. This update brings some new features and improvements in the apps. Some changes are common in two or more of these apps, while some are only available in one of these apps. Word and Excel share the reduced app size. They have been reduced by about 40 percent.
Microsoft also added presenter view to PowerPoint for Android, which is only available if you have an Office 365 subscription. With the new presenter view, users will be able to check speaker notes on their phone/tablet, but control what the audience see when they project to a large screen. The latest update for Word, Excel and PowerPoint also brings support for Android for Work, as well as Android Marshmallow for Enterprise. Also, Office apps now feature cloud font support, so users can download their favorite font from the cloud and write with the fonts they like.
