Microsoft to merge Sunrise Calendar into Outlook
Sunrise calendar was (arguably) the best calendar application for iOS device and earlier this year, Microsoft had acquired Sunrise Calendar and this week, Microsoft’s Outlook team has announced that they will phase out Sunrise Calendar and that Outlook for iOS application will inherit the features of Sunrise Calendar. The change is rolled out to iOS users and will be available on Android soon.
Over next few months, Microsoft’s Outlook team will bring better calendar experience to Outlook app and the features include “Interesting Calendars”, connection to other applications and services, create meetings on the go, handle meetings across time zones. Users can suggest a feature to Outlook team from Settings -> Suggest a Feature.
