Microsoft To Begin Selling Surface Devices In India From Next Year

Microsoft today confirmed that they will start selling Surface devices in India from next year. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at a keynote address at Microsoft’s Future Unleashed event in Mumbai has confirmed that the latest Surface Pro 4 tablet will be launching in India by January.

The Surface Pro 4 comes with a choice of Intel’s 6th-generation Core processors, from Core M3 for the base model, to Core i5 and Core i7 options. These configurations are powered by Intel HD Graphics 515, Intel HD Graphics 520, and Intel Iris Graphics respectively.

Surface Pro 3 and the Surface Pro 4 will be available for sale in Microsoft Priority Resellers from Feb 2016. Former Nokia Priority showrooms have been now converted into Microsoft Priority Reseller stores. Microsoft has converted former Nokia Priority showrooms into Microsoft Priority Reseller stores. These stores are currently selling Lumia devices and several Windows 10 laptops. Microsoft is also planning to sell 2-in-1 and convertible devices from other OEMs in their Priority Reseller stores in India.
