Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is now official
Microsoft Surface Pro 6, successor to Surface Pro 2017 variant, was announced few hours ago. Powered by 8th generation Intel Core processors (i5 or i8), the new model is faster than its predecessor. Starting from $899.00, surface pro 6 is available for pre-order in very few select markets. As expected, the Surface Pro 6 is compatible with Surface Pen and Surface Dial.
Powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 chips, the new Surface Pro 6 is 67% faster than 5th generation Surface Pro. Microsoft has also worked on increasing battery life of Surface Pro. One major flaw though is the continued lack of Type-C USB port. Again, the Surface Pro comes without any Type-C port. There is only one USB 3.0 port and if you want to use more than one device, you have to use a dongle. The convertible still weighs just 775 grams which is amazing for such a powerful computer.
