Microsoft release 1TB Xbox One variant in USA
Microsoft has quietly unveiled the new Xbox One console variant with 1TB hard drive (built in) and with 3.5mm audio port on the Xbox One controller to allow gamers to connect their preferred third party headsets. The new console will start shipping from 16th of June with a price tag of $399 while the new controller can be purchased for $59.99 USD. Xbox One Special Edition Covert Forces Wireless Controller with a new camouflage design in silver and black will cost $64.99 USD. Also, the current price of $349.99 for 500GB variant will be standard pricing now. New 1TB console variant comes with Halo Master Chief game bundle for free.
Gamers can adjust headset volume, mic monitoring, voice and game audio balance through settings menu on console. The new controller can also get firmware updates wirelessly without the need to connect using USB cable. Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows will be available for purchase starting this Fall. The new adapter will be compatible with Windows 10 OS (only) and will cost $24.99 USD. The new adapter can connect maximum of 8 controllers. The adapter will be bundled with Xbox One Wireless Controller bundle that costs $79.99 USD.
