Microsoft Office gets Google Drive sync support
Perhaps one of the least expected things from either Google or Microsoft, but with the recent efforts of Microsoft to make some of its services platform agnostic, the Redmond based software giant has added Google Drive sync support in Office.
Even though Microsoft has its own OneDrive cloud platform to let you storage, sync or manage your data in the cloud, the company has been tying up with its rivals to help its users access alternatives. That is a sign of a company that has confidence in its products. While Microsoft teamed up with Dropbox before, it has now announced Google Drive support as well. While we may not see it just yet in other products, Google Drive support will be present in Office with a plug-in.
