Microsoft Lumia 435 available for Rs. 5,999 in India
Microsoft Lumia 435 is now available to buy in India, for an attractive price of Rs. 5,999. The low-end Android phones – the Android One series, the Redmi 1S, Moto E etc – have been giving a tough fight to the Lumia series in this range, and now it looks like Microsoft is gearing up to put the gloves off.
The Lumia 435 comes with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, with the Lumia Denim update pre-installed. That’s nice to see, it’s the latest version of all the stuff that Microsoft has to offer.
- Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim
- 4 inch TFT LCD display, 800×480 pixels, ~233 PPI
- 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU
- 2 MP rear camera, no flash, 480p recording; front facing VGA camera
- 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
- Dual SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM Radio
- 1560 mAh battery
- Rs. 5,999
The Lumia 435 comes with dual SIM support, but I suppose this is limited to certain markets only. The company is only selling the phone in two colours for now – White and Black. The launch featured two other colours – orange and green, which look more spiffy and would have been a good attraction in this price segment.
You can buy the Microsoft Lumia 435 on the company’s online storefront here.
