Microsoft Lumia 430 is a dual SIM $70 smartphone
Microsoft announced another new ultra-budget smartphone today. The company has been teasing its release since yesterday and the phone is out already without any leaks whatsoever.
The Lumia 430 is being targeted at the developing countries which are turning out to be one of the most important markets according to Microsoft. The company is continuing to work on Nokia’s vision of empowering the next billion people on this planet with affordable and good quality smartphones, which explains the extremely low price of the Lumia 430.
The Lumia 430 comes with a 4 inch LCD display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. With a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor inside the shell and 1 GB RAM, the phone should be quite fast. While it may not ace any benchmarks, for $70 you get a really good experience. The Lumia 430 also comes with dual SIM support alongside 3G support. Internal storage of 8 GB can be expanded by another 128 GB using a microSD card. There is a 2 MP camera on the back and a front facing VGA camera.
More details about availability will be known soon.
