Microsoft launches Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps for Android

Microsoft has finally launched its much awaited Office apps for Android devices. The software giant has launched the Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps on the Play Store and they are all free with all the features you need.

Initially, Microsoft had launched its Office apps only for Android tablets. The company later announced a beta program for Word, Excel and PowerPoint for phones as well. Today the preview period has reached to an end and the official release versions are out on the Play Store.

The Word app weights in at over 100 MBs, with the Excel and PowerPoint apps in the 90 MB region. While that’s a lot of weight, you get the complete Office experience right in your palms.
