Microsoft India release Guardian Windows Phone app to protect women
Guardian application, available only for Windows Phone 8 devices is designed by Microsoft to help prevent crime against women in India. Using this application, user can enabled real-time tracking, send SOS alert, record evidence of attack. Guardian can also be used by police and security agencies to monitor and respond to SOS calls and provide help through a portal.
Application is now available for download from Windows Phone 8 application store. Full featureset is listed below.
