Microsoft announce new portable chargers
Microsoft has announced that they are launching new portable chargers with capacity of 5200mAh, 9000mAh and 12000 mAh power capacities. If you think that Microsoft is entering this market, do note that Nokia Mobile Division (now under Microsoft) has been selling portable chargers for a while but was not able to find ground due to cheaper and larger models from competitors like Xiaomi, OnePlus etc. Microsoft Portable Dual chargers will become available globally in select markets over the next few weeks, with an estimated retail price of USD 35, 45, and 55.
The new line-up comes with a design similar to the Jackery Giant design that has been used by many. All three variants come with dual USB power output ports and you can simultaneously charge two devices at same time. All three portable chargers come equipped with not one, but two USB ports, which lets you charge more than one device at the same time. The best part is that you can charge both the charger and your phone using daisy chain setup. Connect the portable charger to the wall and connect your phone to the portable charger. The charger’s four LEDs will show the amount of charge left in the batteries.
