Micromax release 6999 rupee Canvas Tab P480 Android tablet in India
Micromax has announced the launch of Canvas Tab P480 Android tablet in India. Priced at 6,999/- P480 is powered by MediaTek MT8382 WM tablet SoC and has a 7” IPS panel display with 1024×600 pixel resolution. This new tablet with dual SIM card slots will go on sale starting this week and will be available across all retail channels. Though P480 comes with KitKat version of Android, the tablet is eligible for upgrade to Androidi 5.x Lollipop (upgrade date is not set as of now).
The MediaTek MT8382WM chip has quad core ARM Cortex A7 CPU running at 1.3GHz and an ARM Mali –400MP2 GPU running at 500MHz. There is a 3000mAh battery that will be able to keep the tablet powered from morning to evening on normal usage. 8GB of storage is available onboard out of which 5GB is reserved for apps and OS. There is a 5mp camera at the back at a 2mp camera at the front.
