Micromax launches Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3
Last year, Micromax the biggest Indian smartphone brand had launched their first selfie-focussed smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Selfie with dual 13-megapixel cameras, one at the front and the other at the back. Now, Micromax has launched two selfie-focussed smartphones in the country, the Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 and the Micromax Canvas Selfie 3.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 is an entry level smartphone which is priced at Rs. 5,999. It is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone and has a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The Canvas Selfie 2 has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage space. It has a 2,000 mAh battery and supports dual sim compatible with 3G networks. It has microUSB v2.0 port.

The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 is priced slightly higher and obviously comes with improved features like a higher resolution 4.8-inch AMOLED display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, or higher-resolution 8-megapixel cameras on the front and the rear.
Both, the primary and secondary cameras are accompanied by LED flash lights for better pictures in low light conditions

- 2,300 mAh battery
Connectivity features include two SIM card slots, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and a microUSB port. Micromax is including a Bluetooth-enabled selfie stick with the Canvas Selfie 3. It is expected to cost more than the Canvas Selfie 2 but its price has not been revealed yet. Both the devices will be available by the end of this month.
