Micromax unveils Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition
Micromax has unveiled its new Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition. The device has been listed on the company’s website. The company has not revealed information about the pricing and availability of the device.
The rear panel of the Canvas 5 Lite special edition comes with maple and walnut wood finish. The Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition is the Lite version of the Canvas 5 that was unveiled last year at Rs 11,999.
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The device features a 5 inch HD ( 720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD display. The device comes with a pixel density of ~294 ppi.
The device is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage. The internal storage on the device can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
The Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition features an 8 MP primary camera with auto-focus, with an LED flash. On the front, it features a 5 MP secondary camera for selfies.
The device is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery which is supposed to provide up to 150 hours of standby time and up to 4.5 hours of talk time. Connectivity options on the device include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB
