Meizu M5 Note With 5.5″ Display, Helio P10 Launched
Meizu took the wraps off the M5 Note, its latest smartphone in China. The new smartphone from Meizu comes with a range of mid-range specs at entry level prices. The M5 Note comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Flyme OS 6.0 – at a price starting at CNY 900 only.

The Meizu M5 Note comes with a 5.5 inch full HD LTPS LCD display. You get a pixel density of ~401 PPI at 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone runs on Meizu’s custom made Flyme OS 6.0 skin, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Coming to the processor side of things, the M5 Note features an octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 processor. It comes in three variants – 3 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM. The 3 GB version comes with internal storage options of 16 GB and 32 GB while the 4 GB version comes with 64 GB. The phone supports expansion of internal storage using a microSD card.
Talking about imaging, you get a 13 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and video recording support up to 1080p. The front gets a 5 MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Other features include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone is powered by a 4000 mAh battery.
Pricing And Availability
Meizu has priced the M5 Note at CNY 900 for the 3GB/16GB version. The 3GB/32GB version has been priced at CNY 1000 and the 4GB/64GB version has been priced at CNY 1500. The phone will be available starting on December 8. Wider availability details are not known yet.
