LinkedIn announces LinkedIn Contacts application for iOS
LinkedIn has announced limited availability of LinkedIn Contacts application for iOS users. The new app combines contacts from address books, email accounts, and calendars into one LinkedIn network. You can acess LinkedIn Contacts from http://contacts.linkedin.com or by installing LinkedIn Contacts application on iOS. Currentely the application is only available on ‘invite only’ and you can get added to the waiting list by registering on contacts app or via contacts webpage.

With this new product, we bring all your contacts from your address books, email accounts, and calendars together with the power of your LinkedIn network. Contacts is available both on LinkedIn.com as well as a brand new app for iPhone. Over the coming weeks, we’ll start sending invitations to try LinkedIn Contacts to a limited number of members in the United States.” said Sachin Rekhi, Software Engineer at LinkedIn.
The Contacts app also notifies you of job changes and birthdays in your network, lets you set reminders and notes.
