LG V20 To Be Launched In India On December 5
South Korean smartphone maker, LG has started sending out the media invites for the launch of its flagship device, the LG V20. The device is set to launch in India on December 5.
As per sources, the device is already available to purchase from retailers at a price of Rs. 54,999. The device will come bundled with a complimentary Bang & Olufsen headset for early buyers.
LG V20 Specifications
The LG V20 runs on LG UX 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The device features a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS display with a second 2.1 inch second display with a resolution 160 x 1040 pixels. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The LG V20 is powered by a Quad core 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. It comes with a dedicated microSD card slot.
Coming to the camera department, the LG V20 features a dual camera setup. It comes with a 16 MP camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) 2.0, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED Flash, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF and 75-degree lens. The 2nd camera is 8 MP with f/2.4 aperture and 135-degree lens for taking wide shots. On the front, the device sports a 5 MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 120-degree wide-angle lens.
Coming to audio output, LG V20 has a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS SABRE ES9218. This along with support for lossless music formats like FLAC, DSD, AIFF, WAV, ALAC make the V20 the preferred choice for audiophiles. LG has also teamed up with B&O PLAY to create natural balanced sound.
The LG V20 is powered by a 3,200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, a Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, Infrared port and FM Radio
