LG release 2nd edition Watch Urbane with built in cellular functionality
Today, at LG V10 event, LG did throw a bomb by announcing the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition and this is the first Android Wear device with built-in support to connect to cellular networks. Now, you can call your giant robot from your smartphone even when your phone is destroyed. Watch Urbane 2 comes with a 1.38” P-OLED full circle display with 480×480 pixel resolution. USA and Korea will be first in line to get the 2nd Edition Watch Urbane and Europe, CIS, Asia and Middle East will get the watch later.
Watch Urbane is powered by Snapdragon 400 chip and has support for 4G and 3G networks. The watch body is made of hairline-etched stainless steel and the band is durable hypoallergenic TPSiV™ elastomer band. The three buttons on the right side of the watch lets user get quick access to shortcuts. Watch Urbane can track fitness data (heart rate, pedometer etc)
