LG Ice Cream Smart is a flip-phone running Android
LG has launched a new flip-phone for the Korean market, running Android. The Korean giant’s new phone is called Ice Cream Smart and comes with a 3.5 inch display.
The specs are nothing to write home about – the Ice Cream Smart comes runs Android 4.4 KItKat (I know, it’s easy to get confused with the phone’s name) and comes with a 3.5 inch of 320×480 pixels resolution. That’s odd considering the fact that LG has used a quad core Snapdragon 400 processor and fleshed it with 1 GB of RAM. There’s also an 8 MP camera on the back and a front facing VGA camera. The phone comes with 8 GB internal memory, which can be expanded by another 32 GB with a microSD card.
The Ice Cream Smart has a dedicated button for KakaoTalk, a popular IM app in Korea. The Ice Cream Smart comes in two colours – Mint and Pink.
LG hasn’t revealed any pricing or availability details, but it would be safe to say that the device won’t make it out of Korea.
