LG HU80K is an award winning 4K UltraHD projector from the Korean electronics giant. The LG HU80K can create a 150″ screen at high 2500 lumens and this makes the HU80K their brightest projector. The best part of this projector is its small size and highly competitive price tag. Also on display will be LG’s latest version of its portable and convenient MiniBeam Projector (model PF50K), featuring webOS 3.5 and Full HD resolution. LG’s entire 2018 projector lineup can be experienced up close in LG’s booth at CES in Las Vegas from January 9-12.
“At this year’s CES event, we are excited to bring value to consumers with our first 4K UHD projector, which delivers the highest resolution we’ve ever offered in a compact size,” said Chang Ik-hwan, head of LG’s IT business division. “LG’s 4K UHD projector will lead the way in changing how consumers view 4K content in any room in the home, wherever there’s an audience.”
Unlike 1080p that took really long time to be mainstream, 2K and 4K formats took lot less time to get widespread acceptance. Many streaming sites are now making videos available in 4K UHD format and there are countless varieties of 4K TVs too. For those who want to go big on 4K, a projector that shoots 150″ wall would be perfect. With support for HDR (HDR10) content, the LG HU80K can provide very high quality cinematic experience at home.
The LG HU80K projector can be placed on floor or mounted on wall or setup on ceiling. LG has provided easy carrying handle and AutoCord features to make setting up the projector an easy task. The flip that opens at the top acts as a reflector and also as a cover to protects the lens. There are two 7W stereo speakers for those who do not have a dedicated home theater speaker setup.
