LG launches G Pad III 8.0
LG has launched the third generation of the G Pad series in South Korea, dubbed as G Pad III 8.0. Apart from South Korea, the tablet has been spotted in some parts of Canada and United States. LG has not revealed any information about global pricing and availability.
The G Pad III 8.0 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The tablet features a 8 inch Full HD (1920 × 1200) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM.
The tablet comes with 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device comes with a 5 MP primary camera. It measures 210.7 x 124.1 x 7.9mm and weighs in at 309 grams.
The tablet comes with a package of MS Office tools, a coupon for free e-books and an enhanced reader mode. As for connectivity, the tablet comes with a USB Type-A port which can be used to plug in a mouse or a keyboard. Other connectivty options include Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Micro USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac.
