LG G Pad III 10.1 Tablet Launched In Korea

There has been a sudden slowdown in the number of Android tablets that have been launched this year, especially when compared to 2014 and 2015. That said, LG has just launched a new tablet in its G Pad series, the new G Pad III 10.1. Yes, it comes with a 10.1 inch display as the name signifies. The new LG tablet also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow customized with LG’s custom skin.

The G Pad III 10.1 comes with a 10.1 inch IPS LCD display of full HD resolution. At 10.1 inches, you get a pixel density of 218 PPI. The tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with LG’s custom skin on top.

Powering the tablet is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and Adreno 405 GPU for handling the graphics. The tablet comes with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, expandable using a microSD card.

In terms of imaging, you get a 5 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.

Other features of the G Pad III 10.1 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a USB Type C port. The tablet is powered by a 6000 mAh battery. The tablet also comes with a Kick Stand for letting you consume media and read comfortably.

Pricing And Availability

The G Pad III 10.1 is priced at $429. It is available for purchase in Korea. Wider availability details are not known yet.
