LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE launched with Snapdragon 615 processor
LG has launched a new tablet in South Korea today. The Korean giant unveiled the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE running on Android 5.1 Lollipop and featuring the Snapdragon 615 processor.
While the name sounds quite the mouthful, the G Pad 8.3 LTE is at best a mid-range tablet. The 8.3 inch LCD display comes with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, an 8 MP camera on the back and a 2 MP camera on the front, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and microSD card support up to 2 TB. There aren’t many things that have changed from the G Pad 8.3 launched in 2013, although you get a newer processor in the form of Snapdragon 615. Other than that, we now have a stylus and a full USB port.
LG will be launching the G Pad II 8.3 LTE on the LG U+ network in Korea, and reports suggest that the western markets will see it relaunch during CES next year. Pricing and availability details are not known yet.
