LG F60 launched in India for Rs. 14,200
LG has launched a new budget range smartphone in India. The LG F60, which has existed online-only so far, has come to India for a price of Rs. 14,200, sporting a Nexus 5-like design.
Unveiled last year, the LG F60 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, which is nice to see in many phones these days across price points. The F60 sports a 4.5 WVGA display (I kid you not, it’s a WVGA display!), which is surprising considering the fact that every other phone at this price sports a HD display at least.
- Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG’s custom UI on top
- 4.5 inch IPS LCD display of WVGA resolution, 800×480 pixels, ~207 PPI
- 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU
- 5 MP camera, LED flash, 720p recording; front facing VGA camera
- 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, expandable with a microSD card
- 4G LTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, KnockCode
- 2100 mAh battery
- Rs. 14,200
The specs look average on paper for the price LG is asking. When phones like Moto G (2014) (and even the previous gen, for that matter), the Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G, Yu Yureka come with better specs for considerably lower prices, it makes the LG F60 look silly overpriced.
