LG announces LG G Pro 2 Android phablet
LG G Pro is one of the best phones that came out of LG’s stable and is one of the best phones released in 2013. This week, almost a year after the release of G Pro, LG has announced LG G Pro 2. Given that LG G Pro was awarded ‘best smartphone of mwc 2013’, G Pro 2 will have a tough job at hand. G Pro 2 comes with a 5.9″ Full HD IPS panel display and the bezel is just 3.3mm thin. Thanks to the super thin bezel, G Pro 2 has a scren to frame ration of 77.2%. Powered by 2.26GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, there is more than enough power under the hood and there is 3GB of DDR3 RAM to pass data. Phone comes with a 16GB/32GB onboard storage options and users can further increase memory by adding a microSD card.
Camera is one area that LG has improved a lot. 13mp Camera on the G Pro 2 is capable of 4k ultraHD video recording and can do a 120fps HD video recording, has optimcal image stability to give super smooth shots.Few extra features include magic focus, natural flash, flash for selfie, burst shot, gallery collage. LG’s popular KnockOn feature is vastly improvised in G Pro 2. Users can unlock the phone by using 86,367 “knock” combinations. This knock pattern can be entered at any part of screen. “Mini View” is another interesting feature. Mini view will reduce the screen size between 3.4″ and 4.7″ so that users can use the phone with one hand by placing fingers on the ‘inactive’ area of the screen.

LG G Pro 2 is currently released in Korean market. The phablet will be available on LG’s Booth in Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via during CMW 2014.
