LG announces 31MU97 31 inch 4k resolution IPS display
LG has today announced a brand new display that crams in nearly 9 million pixels on a 31” IPS panel. The 31MU97 is bulid according to standards set by Digital Cinema Initiative and is tailor made for professional who need absolute color accuracy and ultra sharp panel. The display will be available starting this week in USA, South Korea, Germany, Australia and UK and will cost north of $2000 USD. In November, 31MU97 will be shipped ot Netherlands, Spain, Poland and Japan. The best part though is that the display is compatible with Mac and comes with a Thunderbolt port. The IPS panel supports over 99.5% of Adobe RGB color space, users can display two different color modes simultaneously for quick comparison, thanks to Dual Color Space feature.
