LG 38UC99 curved ultra wide 38″ gaming monitor to be showcased at IFA2016

LG 38UC99 is a massive 38″ Curved UltraWide 21:9 aspect ratio computer monitor designed for gamers, will be showcased at IFA 2016 in Berlin.  LG will also showcase 34UG79G, the worlds first 144Hz Curved UltraWide 21:9 gaming monitor. The LG 38UC99 will be the first 21:9 display with a built in USB Type-C port. LG booth will be setup at Hall 18 at IFA 2016 from 2nd of September till 7th where gamers can experience the new curved monitors.

The LG 38UC99 comes with a QHD+ resolution (3840 x 1600) and has 99% sRGB color gamut. There are two 10W built in bluetooth compatible speakers that offer Rich Bass output in 85Hz range. The monitor has 1ms refresh time. LG 34UC79G on the other hand comes with QHD IPS display panel with Black Stabilizer. Combined with 144Hz refresh rate, this allow smooth and accurate color reproduction. 34UC79G has a crosshair option that adds fixed target to the center of screen to increase accuracy while playing FPS games, a mouse line hook to prevent drag resistance caused by mouse’s cable. Users can tilt, height adjust 34UC79G for perfect placement.

Visitors to the LG booth (Hall 18) at IFA 2016 will be able to experience LG’s new 21:9 UltraWideTM monitors for themselves from September 2-7.
